Grievance Policy

The Object Relations Institute for Psychotherapy and Psychoanalysis is committed to providing a high-quality educational experience for all students. We recognize that concerns may arise during the course of study, and we are dedicated to addressing these issues fairly and promptly.

1. Purpose
This policy outlines the process for students to raise and resolve grievances related to academic, administrative, or interpersonal matters within our institution.

2. Scope
This policy applies to all enrolled students in our psychoanalysis and psychotherapy training programs.

3. Informal Resolution
We encourage students to first attempt to resolve issues informally by discussing their concerns directly with the relevant party (e.g., instructor, administrator, or peer).

4. Formal Grievance Process
If informal resolution is not successful or appropriate, students may initiate a formal grievance process:
a. Submission: Submit a written grievance to the Program Director within 14 days of the incident, including:
– Student’s name and contact information
– Description of the grievance
– Date(s) of the incident(s)
